LONDON, I’ve been waiting for you!  I have finally arrived in this beautiful city and what was my first stop…  H&M of course!  My love affair for this fine store started 10+ years ago when I first came to London on a high school choir trip.  Yes, I was in choir and I absolutely LOVED it #nerdalert 🙂  I had not heard of H&M at the time, growing up in Kansas I only dreamt of such places!  I actually remember my first purchases in the London store – it was a matching turquoise cotton skirt and zip-up set.  It was at a time when the jumpsuit was at it’s peak, so yes, I was feeling pretty good heading back to the good ‘ole Midwest sporting my new duds.  Fast forward to now, and I’m still in LOVE with H&M!  A store that has such fashionable and trendy pieces at extremely reasonable prices, that’s my cup of tea!

I spotted this bright beauty of a skirt and knew I needed it in my life!  What color screams SUMMER more than yellow, right?!  When an item is printed and/or bright I tend to style out the look with classic pieces.  I paired this skirt with a simple black crop, also from H&M ($6.95), blush heels, a classic leather jacket, statement necklace and a white handbag.  I love a pop of color but one piece is good for me!  Below I’ve posted more fun items from H&M for your summer wardrobe.  The options are endless… go ahead, shop around!
