If you watched my Instagram Story this past Sunday you saw a little glimpse into my Halloween DIY afternoon. I had the best time creating spooky yet chic skulls and mini pumpkins. They were very easy and inexpensive to make and let’s not forget, such a fun thing to do with family and friends! Instead of […]
Halloween is just a few weeks away so if you haven’t thought about a costume, it’s time! If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I love All Hallowe’s Eve! You can bet I have at least 3 dress-up options each year 🙂 LOL I’ve collected 4+ bins of costumes and each year continue to add to it. You name it, I’ve probably dressed up as it!
You could say all of my Halloween dreams came true just a few short weeks ago in Salem, MA. Two of my best girlfriends and I have been wanting to venture to this spooky city for years. We finally put it on the books and made it happen! By far, it was one of my […]
Yesterday, all of my unicorn dreams came true!! My girl Shekinah at Hollywood Makeup came over to transform me to the most magical creature. I’ve been wanting to be a unicorn for years and y’all, I finally did it! Not to mention a pretty PINK uni!! This by far is one of my most favorite costumes I’ve ever done!
I’m not a fan of out of the bag costumes – I like to piece it together. It feels more authentic and not as “cheap” to me. I know it’s not always the easiest or most convenient but that’s why I do the work for you!! I put my outfit together for under $100! See above for links to everything in my costume. If you’re not wanting to be a pink unicorn, not to worry, there are SO many color options. Just swap out the wig, tutu and headband for a different color palette.

Alright, boos! The time has come… I’m sharing everything HALLOWEEN this week on the blog! Let’s start with the most SPOOKtacular table. If you watch my Instagram Story, I spoke about how to make holiday decorations NOT cheesy.
My first piece of advice when decorating your home, a room and/or for the holidays is always… PICK A THEME!! It is SO important! If you’re like most, selecting home decor can be overwhelming. There are SO many options. This key principal will help keep you on track. If you haven’t noticed my overall theme is black and white with an emphasis on skulls. I just love skulls… ya, I just wrote that. I know it may sound a little strange, but I’ve always had a thing for them. I have SO many lil’ beauties around my house I’ve literally stopped counting…
